Seek support

Twice a year – in April and November – The Dreyer Foundation distributes grants totaling DKK 16 million to projects and study trips for lawyers and architects.

If you are in doubt as to whether you can get support for your project or stay abroad, you can read more about the foundation’s mission and vision and examples of projects the foundation has previously supported.

Application deadlines
There are two annual application deadlines: 15 January and 15 July. Processing time is approximately four months.

Application forms
Application forms can be printed out here or requested by email at info@dreyersfond.dk and by telephone on +45 33 25 53 11. Signed applications should be sent to The Dreyer Foundation's headquarters: Løvenborg, Vesterbrogade 34, DK-1620 Copenhagen V along with necessary attachments.

Please note:

  • Applicants must be liable to pay tax in Denmark
  • The application form must be filled out with all required information
  • The application must be legible and clearly motivated
  • It is not allowed to apply for support for ongoing expenses
  • Applicants for study abroad grants must document that they are enrolled in a university or other educational establishment. Documentation can be sent separately if it is not available at the time the application is completed
  • The study abroad stay must be for a minimum of three months
  • Support will not be given to group trips and projects or stays abroad that have been completed
  • Architecture students are considered after they have completed 2/3 of their studies
  • Lawyers get preferential treatment after they have completed their Master’s degree and preferably if they are employed in the field
