Good foundation practice

Together with other large Danish foundations, The Dreyer Foundation has established a set of ethical principles for the foundations’ non-profit and charity activities:

The seven approved principles for good foundation practice are:

  1. Openness, communication and information
  2. Subject knowledge, competency and professionalism
  3. Cooperation with applicants, grant recipients and other interested parties
  4. Evaluating grant recipients
  5. Bookkeeping
  6. The board of directors
  7. Administration - day to day management
