The seven approved principles for good foundation practice are:
- Openness, communication and information
- Subject knowledge, competency and professionalism
- Cooperation with applicants, grant recipients and other interested parties
- Evaluating grant recipients
- Bookkeeping
- The board of directors
- Administration - day to day management
